BSNL 3G - Error 619 while trying to connect to internet

Hi Friends,

I have been receiving queries about Error 619 (The connection to the remote server could not be established) on BSNL SIM while trying to connect to internet. Today I too received this error. My findings say that this error has nothing to do with your card. You get this error when the validity of your internet has expired. and there is a 0 balance on your SIM.

Error 619 in Mobile Partner

To overcome this error, simply refill/recharge your account. Apart from this I tried several ways to recreate this error but this seems to be the only reason. In case you have any experience dealing this error do share here.

Thanks for reading and will be back some more interesting stuff. Till then happy surfing.

  9. Hi Suresh,

I have an unlocked idea netsetter huawei E1550 and till now i was using it with Reliance mobile 2g (gprs) very fine.
Now i want to use BSNL 2g/GPRS but (using bsnlnet apn), but it is not connecting.
GPRS is activated on my bsnl sim and it also has balance. Also same sim works fine on my mobile but not on idea netsetter card.

My idea netsetter was unlocked 2 months back not sure what is the current firmware version.
I use Macbook and i dont have windows machine.
So, i am not sure how to execute the steps you told in this blog.
Please tell me how can i update device firmware using Mac machine and how can i check the firmware version.

Please reply early otherwise i will have to buy new card as i am working on some urgent project work.

    Thanks a lot in advance.

considering that the firmware remains OS independent, It has excutables for windows only. I can help you with the dashboard. You can download the latest dashboard for huawei E1550 here: http://www.dc-files.com/files/huawei/modems/E1550/dashboard/Mobile_Partner_MAC11.301.10.00.03.zip

Why don't you use some tool like VMWare. I am not sure if it exists for Mac. Never got an opportunity to work with Mac. so I am limited with any sort of help. If you can help me with exact problem, if it is working with reliance there has to be some problem with settings for it not to work with BSNL. if you can elaborate the problem maybe I could try to help. But as of now I dont have any solution to flash it using MAC.
